What's great

Forms get annoying fast once logic is involved. Tally keeps things simple.

You write forms like a document and add conditional logic naturally. Hidden fields, branching, and redirects are easy.It’s been reliable for client intake, internal workflows, and structured data collection.

It doesn’t try to be enterprise software, and that’s a good thing and It is one of the easiest ways I have found to build forms with conditional logic, especially when speed and simplicity matter.

This app is scary good. I help a number of nonprofit organizations, all that are appropriately careful with their money, so I'm constantly on the hunt for inexpensive/free tools that are solid, secure, etc. Tally really blows me away. Google Forms has been my go-to recommendation for quite awhile, but it hasn't been updated much and the UI is a bit dated. I'm just starting with Tally, but so far it does everything I've needed to do in various Google Forms (including store responses in a linked Google Sheet -- KEY!). I'm looking forward to putting Tally through its paces, but so far, I'm wowed.

Great product, easy to use, elegant interface with fair pricing (Typeform and Survey Sparrow are criminals) and best of all elegant integration with tools like Notion. We're in the process of migrating our forms from our paid Survey Sparrow account. Would love to see a conversational like form like Typeform and a better way to add standard multiple choice options like countries (right now you manually enter them and have to scroll through all the options.. .it's a bit messy) Excited to try out v2 in full!

I agree with other reviewers that it's a great tool, particularly compared to other free versions. I have 2 gripes though - it could really use an undo button, as I find it really easy to inadvertently delete elements when editing and with no undo, they are lost forever - very frustrating if you've spent ages crafting the perfect question! Also it would be great if the conditional logic had the option to insert an answer from a previous question. Well done on a great product overall!

This new form builder tool deserves a shoutout. As a free user, it's better than Jotform, Typeform, Formstack, Paperform, and most definitely the boring Google Forms. Legit 99% features for free. If you are a Notion user or even Google Drive, you can integrate it directly to fill up a database. No need to use Zapier or Integromat to connect both tools. Plus, the UI/UX looks and feels similar to Notion. Great work, Tally!!

Was really loving the app, features, functionality, everything really... until we got a notification asking us to pay 4x more due to "excessive usage" of the app. Don't fall for the "Unlimited forms and submissions for free" - there is a limit and it is 50K responses/month. Apart from that, great app!

The design and ease of use of Tally is of course great, but what I like most is the ability to do calculations and make payments. I really like the ability to calculate and settle fees. I have been using the free plan for a long time and have been able to pay Tally a little for the payment fees.
