@eboy Shopify is an amazing platform and its stores are certainly geared for mobile more than some other hosted eCommerce platforms. However, there's still a big difference in user experience when shopping on the web vs. in a native app.
For example, I love to shop on Amazon on my iPhone. Yes, Amazon.com is also geared for mobile, but I think most people who have the Amazon app on their iPhone would agree that it far exceeds the experience of using Amazon.com in Mobile Safari.
@eboy I know you're asking the maker but I just want to jump in as been looking into solutions for this for a few months. Yes, it's responsively geared for mobile in a browser. For native mobile apps there is also a Shopify SDK for both iOS and Android that integrates well. There's also the Buy Button which can be integrated into any mobile app.
However, Tapcart seems to automatically convert your store into a native app that you can control like you would using native frameworks (push to app store, push notifications etc)
@paulsavage Thanks, Paul! With Tapcart you can send rich push notifications to customers at any time. These push notifications can include images and videos, which will increase engagement far more than standard text-based notifications.
@cozysd This year we plan to form partnerships/integrations with BigCommerce, Squarespace, Magento and WooCommerce. Our goal is to serve the majority of eCommerce platforms soon
