Tapestry is a solo or collaborative todo list that tracks what blocks what. Link dependent tasks and it tells you what's truly actionable today — not just what's overdue. Share workspaces with your human or machine team in real time, and assign tasks to AI agents via MCP, so your bots can pick up work right alongside you and plan concrete, complex tasks without losing track of what needs to be done.

Hi friends! I first built Tapestry ages ago because I would get legacy-todo-app fatigue all the time — hundreds of items on my list, some of which depended on others, some of which weren't doable yet, and some that were urgent, but were impossible to surface automatically.
Tapestry tracks dependencies, so if you need to Buy Some Paint before you Repaint The Living Room, you don't see blocked tasks until they become actionable. Today I'm re-releasing it with fresh support for BYO agents, so that you can delegate work like emails, software development, research... And just like human users, agent users can see which tasks are doable now and which have prerequisites.
In my experience, major-scope agent work uses way fewer tokens and goes off-track way less frequently when the agents track and guide their work using Tapestry! I use it every day now.
There's a super generous free tier, but if you notice you're tipping it over, use promo PRODUCTHUNT50 for 50% off any of the paid plans forever. I'm really curious to hear what you think, and what features you think are missing! (Next up on my list is GitHub integration, what else?)

honestly the dependency tracking is what hooked me, way better than staring at a wall of overdue stuff. one thing i'd love to see is a quick way to visualize the chain of blockers, like a simple graph or flow view, so i can spot the bottleneck tasks without clicking through every item. would make planning way faster.
honestly the dependency tracking is such a smart angle, most todo apps ignore that entirely. one thing i'd love to see is a "what-if" mode where you can drag a task to a different date and it shows you the ripple effect on everything downstream before you commit to the change.

@halilkarglraw6 Ooh that's a great idea, love that! Thank you for the suggestion!

The dependency linking is genuinely useful, especially when a task isn't due yet but it's holding up three others. MCP assignment to agents feels like a glimpse of how we'll actually work with bots day to day.

@lknurka6a Check out your Graph Page, https://tapestry.pyrite.ai/graph !
