The Story behind Temsee: Hello Product Hunt! 👋 I'm the creator of Temsee. The inspiration for this project came from a recurring challenge I saw in the SaaS and digital commerce space: most billing systems are either too simple for real growth or so complex they require a dev team just to manage an invoice. We wanted to build the 'Goldilocks' of billing—something that spans the gap between basic invoicing and massive ERP systems. The problem we set out to solve was the 'Revenue Complexity Wall'. As soon as a business moves past flat-rate pricing into metered usage, recurring subscriptions, or prepaid wallets (especially in emerging markets with Mobile Money), the overhead becomes a nightmare. We built Temsee to be a high-performance, multi-tenant infrastructure that handles that complexity under the hood while keeping the surface simple. Our process evolved from building 'features' to building 'infrastructure'. We realized that a pretty UI isn't enough for a financial system. So, we went deep. We built a bank-grade revenue ledger with double-entry principles, an automated job engine for recurring billing, and immutable audit trails with content hashing for integrity. Only after the foundation was rock-solid did we focus on the experience—refining the language across the entire app to ensure that anyone, from a founder to a support agent, can understand their revenue flow without needing a degree in fintech.
