...or you could just create an alias like `cdfinder` in your `.bash_profile` for `cd "$(osascript -e 'tell app "Finder" to POSIX path of (insertion location as alias)')";`. Then, when you type `cdfinder` if will `cd` you to the topmost finder window location :)

For those of you who have Alfred, I created a workflow that lets you cd into a folder with search support (similar to the find command). You can also remix it to support your terminal of choice. :)

Much less cumbersome than the current alternative of going to the Finder's 'directory breadcrumb' structure, 'right click' on the folder -> go to services -> and click on 'new terminal in folder'

The tool bar button here is cool, but the right click is built in to OSX - right click a folder and go to /Services menu / New Terminal at Folder

Not only do I think this is brilliant, a co-worker just looked over my shoulder and couldn't believe what he saw. The button in the Finder is killer. You all hit it out of the park!

This is super helpful — I'm going to use it all the time for previewing jekyll builds. Would be great if you could add a customizable hotkey too. :-)
