3. πππ¦π¨π«π’ππ¬: it remembers everything that's important.

The interface was very interesting. Yet it was confusing that whenever I tried to use chat in browser mode it would say disconnected or something all the time. You could fix it easily maybe state management or data not persisting?

@thaw_lin_ooΒ Thank you Thaw for your kind words. Yes, we have that message when the Internet is a bit unstable and we lose connection with our servers. Let me give that feedback about the message to our tech team so we can improve it. β
I appreciate that the shift from an automated to an agent-based approach has resulted in many applications leaving the "last mile" for humans instead of fully automating processes. In the video example, the Librarian found the document and drafted the email, but left the final step to a human. This approach seems to be the most effective. Great job! Best of luck with your launch!
TheLibrarian.io
@michael_vavilovΒ Wow, you did watch the video carefully. And yes, you are so right. I get asked all the time why can't The Librarian just send the email or calendar invite without that middle step? And I always reply two things: (i) we still cannot trust the AI as it does mistakes all the time so we need humans to supervise whatever it drafted or did (ii) if we did not have that middle step and then something went wrong and The Librarian sent for example the wrong file which was confidential, who is the user going to blame? They're going to blame us, the ones that build the tool. Once I explain this they do understand our rational. What do you think Michael? Does it make sense for me to explain it this way? π€π€
@tiago_alves5Β the first point works better imo
TheLibrarian.io
@michael_vavilovΒ ok, thank you for letting me know - I'll start using that one more often as it's 100% true, ie it's an amazing brain but it does sometimes do really stupid things so you always need the human to supervise it for now! π

congrats on the launch! I tried the product and I was trying to figure out what its most effective for - i.e. keeping track of communication across different channels or search from documents?
TheLibrarian.io
@lylia_djaitpaulienΒ Thank you Lylia for your question. I think searching for docs can be super powerful from time to time. Even recently I had to find everything relevant about a conference I helped organise a couple of years back and The Librarian found it in under a minute. But on a daily basis, I think it helping me not miss something important in my email or slack workspace is really amazing. π€©
Wow, interesting application Tiago, definitely try this ! Btw i do wonder, can users customize settings and features to fit their workflows?
TheLibrarian.io
@reina_buiΒ Hi Reina, yes, we do allow for customisation and you can just ask TheLibrarian.io to do it. It's one of the goals of our product, ie to be able to work out-of-the-box and then be customised by just talking to it. Having said that, there's some settings that you may have to change manually on this page - https://chat.thelibrarian.io/account. Please do let me know if you have any further questions - happy to answer! π
This is super impressive! π―

Build Check
TheLibrarian.io
@german_merlo1Β Hi German, yeah, I also think WhatsApp will become much more than just a place to chat with family & friends. I think it will become a place where you can get work done (eg reply to emails), make sure you don't miss anything (eg reminders), and access any info you need (eg files). And as a Founder, I think The Librarian is really useful to me to stay as productive as I can. π
TheLibrarian.io
I have watched Librarian from it's early beginnings and it's truly a revolutionary product! Saves time on tasks for people who cannot afford their own Personal Assistant. It saved me hours of monotonous work during intense conference weeks scheduling meetings, setting up agendas, working on the go between meetings. Amazing product and I can't wait to see more from the Librarian!

@ryan_rogowskiΒ Yes Ryan, you were super important in the early days hence me even listing you as a Maker (not sure if you saw the invitation?). Some of the Features that are making us so successful are actually thanks to you! π
