You’ll note most of the stories reference a time period around the late 2020’s and very early 2030’s. I honestly believe most of the technologies explored in the stories could become widespread before the decade’s end or even sooner. There are of course extraneous factors like regulation and unpredictable human behaviour that might interfere with these timelines. Needless to say, it’s an exciting time to be alive and the future is going to be eventful.
