Although it's not my current position, I deal with PMs and PM requests on a regular basis. This book has made me understand much more what the role entails, aiding me enormously in my daily job. There's plenty of practical examples and you can feel that insights are based on actual business experiences.
This book really makes PMing sound like an appealing (albeit challenging!) career choice. Who knows? Maybe I'll become interested in Product Management in the future!
(Plus: the digital copy is free! No harm in trying it out.)
Pros:Helpful guide to get better at PMing
Cons:Lack of a sequel!

When you can’t pound down a half dozen books on PM, you can pound down one that has it all: The Product Book. So far I've learned all the basics from product lifecycle, process flows to product metrics. The reality is that resources for PMs are scant and this book is a valuable resource for anyone who wants to start building GREAT products.
I recommend this book to any aspiring product manager looking for industry insider's perspective to start, develop, sell and promote a new product in today's fast-changing business world. 😄
Pros:Beyond the PM basics!
Cons:None! Thx for the free resource! 🙌
