@emiel, thanks man. Hooking up with Revue would be indeed very cool. Maybe something in the future, For now this is just a fun little side project for us to get a better understanding of how we can integrate Slack with Gibbon (https://gibbon.co).

Trying it in our community - SSG - with 1500+ people. Some members noticed a bug where anyone can post using the url from other users, for example: all the posts by "Jean Lucas" were not made by me - https://theslackpost.com/startup...
it's just a bug, since we are an open community it is not such a big deal, but could be a threat allowing social engineering using someone's name :)
Love the idea. I agree that including the bot message with every link is a bit too noisy in a public channel. Would be best if it were more of a command instead of automatic feature.
I had to remove the bot from my team and found your FAQ over-simplified the process a little bit. Clicking the pink button didn't prompt me to manage my existing authorizations. I had to find that at this link: https://api.slack.com/tokens
