Hunter
My first hunt. This book is really something.
Every problem is essentially a systems failure, from the personal to the global (including war, poverty and climate change).
This book shows you the basics of any system, and where you can influence them to have maximum impact. That's all you need to apply the same lessons in the real world, helping you solve problems at any scale.
It's the kind of thing an engineer would apply to optimising an engine, for example. This book's angle is how to apply them to the real world.
Remarkable stuff, and a real shame that the author died too young in 2001. Hope this book at as influential to someone else as it has been to me.
