Very cool. Does it take a still photo, or Live Photos/videos. I’m thinking about using this for Halloween. Can it record and sync the crack? Probably not the smartest thing to encourage people to stand outside during a thunderstorm acting like a lightning rod!!

As for syncing with the sound of thunder, while we can’t record or sync the crack just yet, it’s definitely an exciting idea for future updates! And you’re absolutely right—safety first! I wouldn’t recommend acting like a lightning rod for Halloween, but if you’re indoors with a great view, ThunderCatch has you covered for capturing those electrifying moments without the risk!

That is such an awesome idea, @sezeriltekin! I remember wishing for such a product just a couple of years back, when I was on vacation with some friends in northern Italy. We sat in the car and watched a massive rainstorm. I wish I had known Thundercatch back then!
