@tehwey ah yeah it Is a fun interaction. I remembered seeing a landing page for a bot where message notifications appeared and thought I could do the same for a menu bar
Hey Product Hunters!
I'm thrilled to present to you my new app: Time Lines.
I'm always forgetting what's the time difference between me and my family when I'm traveling, or with the people I work with. There are tools for it already but I realized I don't actually care about the time difference, I just want to know what the time of the day there (is it morning? Night time? etc.)
With Time Lines you can quickly tell what's the time of the day anywhere in the world. A time line rise and set with the sun (real sunrise and sunset times in the location!) by default but you can set custom times if you want to show working hours for example.
Tbh I'm having so much fun dragging the dot on a time line and seeing it move on all the others as well. I can spend 10min doing just that haha
Hope you find it as useful as I do, let me know what you think!
Cheers
Mathieu
PS: it's all open source
Really nice idea, although I was confused at first what the app does! Mentioned this here along with some other feedback too - https://app.usebubbles.com/1bc56...
me thinks there is missing a word: UP ... both here and there https://time-lines.app
"Know when all your friends, colleagues, and family are." — UP
"Know WHEN people are." — UP
@alaindelay not necessarily. It does sound weird but it makes you think about it and I actually like it

Elegant design, and quite useful especially for families and friends these days who are in different states, and even different countries.
THANK YOU FOR MAKING IT FREE AN OPEN SOURCE.

Nice product, I just paid for the upgrade.
Some feedback on the mobile app:
- Title, search and add contact take up 1/3 of the screen. Would be great if these were all put into the top navbar so there's max space for contacts.
- Smaller text size option would be useful for when my lists start getting longer
- I would personally prefer tag filters displayed at the top of the page rather than accessing via search. Then just tap to select/deselect. Faster this way
- Text fields - cannot dismiss keyboard by tapping elsewhere on screen
- Tags - "next" button does not complete the action
Thanks & look forward to more updates!
