BrexThe #1 spend platform for strategic finance teams.
4.6 (35 reviews)
We chose Brex because we wanted a banking and finance setup that felt built for modern startups, not like a traditional bank dressed up with better branding. It gave us a cleaner operational experience for managing company spending, cards, and financial controls as we built Timeliner. Compared to the alternatives, Brex felt more aligned with a fast-moving startup that needs flexibility, visibility, and less operational friction.

CloudflareThe web performance & security company
5.0 (145 reviews)
Also considered:
We chose Cloudflare mainly because of R2. For a product like Timeliner, where users upload and access large video files, storage economics matter a lot. R2 stood out because it removes egress fees, which makes the model much more sustainable as usage grows. Beyond that, Cloudflare also gave us performance and infrastructure benefits in one ecosystem, so it was a strong fit for building a media-heavy product without getting crushed by bandwidth costs.

VercelThe frontend cloud. Creators of Next.js.
5.0 (818 reviews)
Also considered:
We chose Vercel because it gave us the fastest path to ship a polished frontend without fighting infrastructure. Since Timeliner is a product where UX, speed, and iteration matter a lot, Vercel made preview deployments, team collaboration, and production releases feel much smoother. It also works especially well for modern frontend workflows, so we could stay focused on building the product instead of babysitting deployment.
