Togetha helps volunteers find meaningful local opportunities and helps organizations manage signups, approvals, waitlists, attendance, and verified service records. Unlike generic event tools, Togetha focuses on the full service loop: discover an opportunity, sign up, show up, get verified, and build a purpose profile around real community impact.

How does Togetha verify that someone actually showed up and completed their volunteer hours, and can organizations customize that verification process?
@hayriye51982633 good question.
In the current version, we verify service when an authorized organization member confirms attendance or completion inside Togetha. The record will show the organization, the opportunity, the date, hours and receipt details. Custom verification workflows are something we are actively thinking through since organizations may need different processes. Thanks!
One thing that would make this way more useful for me would be calendar sync for shifts or recurring commitments, so I can see my volunteer hours alongside work and family without bouncing between apps.
@maddoxmara65205 hey Mara, that was good feedback. The calendar sync makes a lot of sense. We have now added calendar exports and subscription support for volunteers to keep Togetha opportunities on their normal schedule. @product
Would love to see a calendar sync feature so I can drop confirmed shifts straight into Google Calendar with reminders. Right now I'd have to manually copy everything over after getting approved, which feels like extra friction for volunteers juggling work and family schedules.
@boransand97562 I totally agree, Boran. We just added calendar support. Try it out and let me know what you think!
finally tried this and the verified service records piece is what got me, it fills in the gap between showing up and actually having proof for applications or resumes.
@yusufsqeu thank you, Yusuf. It means a lot. The verified service record is actually one of the core ideas behind Togetha
Tried it out and the service loop idea really clicked for me, especially seeing my hours stack up on a purpose profile after a couple of shifts. The waitlist flow feels smoother than the spreadsheets my org has been using.
@melahat61212 Thank you, Melahat; that is exactly what we're trying to improve: less spreadsheet chaos for organizers and a clearer verified record for volunteers.
