Wow interesting take on an AI-powered law firm, but I'm just wondering how it stacks up against, say, LawGeex or Klarity, both of which already offer AI contract review, I'm curious about the reliability of legal advice coming from a machine, will it ever really replace the nuanced understanding of a human attorney? Maybe this could work for basic stuff but I doubt it can handle more complex situations where human judgment is key, anyone else tried it yet?

@salespolyglot love the questions!! Will Tome replace the super experienced partner at Skadden Arps who has done M&A deals over 20 years? Probably not. Can Tome handle the routine corporate work that many lawyers handle? Probably. If you've received a SAFE from an investor and want to make sure it's a normal SAFE and to understand its terms... you can have a lawyer review it for $1k or have Tome review it for a lot less.

This AI-powered lawyer seems like a neat idea but I'm skeptical about how reliable it can be, I mean, isn't it just like LawGeex or DoNotPay but with a fancy interface, will it really replace junior attorneys or just shove more work onto senior ones, and what about nuanced legal advice that needs human judgment, counting that out with 95% AI-generated responses might be risky, anyone else tried similar tools?

So you're saying an AI can replace junior attorneys, but can it really understand the nuances and complexities of human judgment, wouldn't it be risky to rely only on algorithms for something as crucial as legal advice, also how do you handle confidentiality and potential biases in AI, have you tested it thoroughly in high-stakes scenarios

@clinadentceo i love the question! To be clear, I don't think Tome replaces the advice of a multiple-thousand-dollar-per-hour M&A lawyer on a high-stakes M&A deal. But that routine board resolution a first-year attorney just copies and pastes for a deal? Tome can do that! And you shouldn't be paying $$$$$ for that!!
