Totally agree — Top.gg is a discovery engine for Discord bot developers, and getting listed there early is crucial for traction. The real challenge most builders face after launch is understanding how their bot is actually being used in communities and where engagement drops off. We built GroupFinds partly because we kept seeing bot developers flying blind on adoption metrics — they'd hit Top.gg but had no clue which servers were keeping the bot active vs. removing it after a week. It's almost shocking to see top.gg as a new product on ProductHunt, given how long it's been around, but it's true that in the past few months it has started to take another dimension. From being one of many bootstrapped server/bot lists, it is becoming a real professional service and the reference for anyone new to Discord. They have already started to engage the community with great panel discussions.

As an old user, around 4-5 years, of Top.gg I've been having an awesome experience in finding bots and improving the growth of my bot. The website has always been easy to use and quite understandable on how everything works as soon as you get on it. If I would need to give a negative point it would be the community on the Discord server. For the past 1-2 years the community becomes worse and worse in multiple points. Hopefully something can be done against this. Overall amazing experience on Top.gg itself and definitely played a big role in my Discord bot development "career".

I have used Top.gg to find discord bots for my servers for a long time. I am currently making a discord bot and the first place I will post it is on Top.gg. As a bot developer I have been surrounded by people who had bots in 5 servers before posting on Top.gg and afterwards they reached 100 in a month. There continues improvements and updates show that Top.gg is committed to excellence for all of there users.
