A major update, guys!!! Tortma v2.2 is here.
We rebuilt a lot of the stuff happening behind the scenes, and you ll actually notice the difference.
A much smarter way to sort
Tortma now uses confidence-based AI instead of free-text guessing, with better keyword matching and smarter playlist suggestions when nothing fits.
Suggestions that learn
Dismiss a suggestion and it stays gone. Retry gives you a fresh idea. Undo a shelf and Tortma moves on instead of sending you right back there.
18 000 YEARS.
This is how much time it would take at minimum for you to watch all the videos currently on YouTube.
Even if 1% of them interest you, you'd waste 180 years non-stop – no sleeping, only watching.
So here’s the truth: you’ll never watch it all. Nobody will. The only thing that matters is finding the few videos actually worth your time.
And where are those right now? Buried in “Watch Later.” All 400 of them. A graveyard of good intentions.
Because every time you save a video, YouTube hands you the same tiny decision — which playlist? — and it’s always easier to just hit save and move on. Do that a few hundred times and you get the mess we’re all sitting on.
Tortma kills that decision. It’s a Chrome extension: drag any video, drop it in, and the AI picks the right playlist for you in about a second — without leaving the page. Privacy-first, nothing stored or shared.
You don’t have 18,000 years. But the videos you care about should be one click away, not lost forever. Tortma makes sure they are.
