Twenty is praised for its affordability, adaptability, and open-source nature, making it a strong alternative to complex and costly CRMs like Salesforce and HubSpot. Users appreciate its clean, intuitive interface and the rapid development pace, with the core team actively engaging with the community. The platform's community-driven approach and emphasis on extensibility allow businesses to customize their CRM experience, avoiding vendor lock-in. While some users note the learning curve of self-hosting, Twenty offers a compelling solution for those seeking control and customization.

@ayushagl06 Thanks for all your contributions Ayush! We're lucky to have you
Huge congrats to the team on the v1 launch! 🎉 I contributed to Twenty a while back and saw firsthand the care and craft that went into making it developer-friendly and truly customizable. If you’re tired of rigid CRMs or wrestling with Salesforce, definitely give Twenty a shot. Open-source + control over your data = game changer.

@samyak_piya Thanks Samyak for all the PR you did and the support! You remain one of our top contributors ever!
A CRM that's not just another Salesforce clone! Twenty nails the trifecta: open-source flexibility, rock-bottom pricing, and a community that actually listens. Customized my workflow in hours, not weeks—game-changer for startups!

@mint_wang Thank you!!
I have personally worked on Salesforce ecosystem and I can tell you how frustrating it is for Client to be choosing a product with such a high price but with so many limitations ( I am talking Governor Limits, Language Limits,etc). I can't tell you how many times I have said " This is Out of the Box feature from Salesforce and we can't do anything about it. Please add more extensions/products (which costs more btw) " to the most basic features that could have been added if only Salesforce did not use its own proprietary programming languages and limits. And talking about its own proprietary language and limits, its BULLCR**P. As a developer, you are so much limited to the suites provided by Salesforce and I highly doubt they care about the Developers at all. Its like Salesforce Technology is 10 years behind the outside world in terms of Developer Ecosystem.
I am soo glad to have found a Open-source CRM product. Kudos to the team and although I am new to this, I would be contributing to this as much as possible. Thank you.
I find Twenty a really great open-source CRM alternative to Salesforce—customizable and affordable for teams wanting flexibility.
This hits home — building custom CRMs from scratch is such a time sink, but the alternative has usually been bloated, overpriced tools like Salesforce. Love that Twenty brings transparency, flexibility, and modern dev sensibility to the table
Open-source + full control over data and roadmap is a huge win for startups that want to scale on their own terms. Really excited to see the community grow around this — definitely giving it a star on GitHub and trying it out!
Big congrats on the launch!
Twenty is really cool, the codebase standards are just awesome. Have used twenty self hosted version for an application we are building. Great work team
