A Chrome extension that brings TypeScript to your browser's DevTools. Write, compile, and execute TypeScript code snippets on the fly. Perfect for web developers who want to test TypeScript ideas quickly without leaving their browser.
Congratulations, this app is awesome, @rxliuli! The clean layout makes everything so easy to find and use. I’m excited to see how it integrates into my day-to-day tasks. I’ll definitely be recommending it and would love to connect on LinkedIn!
This TypeScript extension is a fantastic tool for enhancing productivity by enabling direct execution in DevTools! I’m curious—will future updates include features like real-time error highlighting or integration with popular debugging tools to further streamline development?

@annaho2000@annaho2000 TypeScript errors are highlighted during editing, but JavaScript errors are only discovered at runtime. Need to debug? Add a line with 'debugger' in your code, and you can immediately use Chrome DevTools' debugging features! I will add a guide in the next version explaining how to run and debug code.
Hey rxliuli,
I'm curious about the performance. How does it handle larger code snippets or more complex TypeScript features?
Do you have plans to support other browsers in the future?
Congrats on the launch!

@kyrylosilin It uses the same underlying editor as VSCode, so it can support all TypeScript features. Yes, I also plan to release a plugin for Firefox, but a bit later.
TypeScript Console sounds like an incredibly useful tool for web developers who want to quickly test TypeScript snippets without leaving the browser! Having the ability to write and run TypeScript directly in Chrome DevTools with instant compilation is a game-changer for speeding up development workflows.
I’m curious to hear how it’s working for others—have you found it helpful for your day-to-day debugging or testing? Any favorite use cases where it’s made a big difference? Looking forward to seeing how this evolves!
This is fantastic, @rxliuli! Running TypeScript directly in Chrome DevTools is going to make debugging so much simpler. Instant compilation is a great feature. How does the console handle different TypeScript versions? Are there any plans to bring in support for tsconfig configurations?

@renchu_song It may not consider supporting multiple versions of TypeScript, but tsconfig.json might be supported in the future. I'm initiating a poll, please vote for the features you're interested in.

@rxliuli Congratulations on the launch of TypeScript Console for Chrome DevTools! It's a great addition for developers who need to quickly test TypeScript snippets. I found the instant compilation and execution particularly impressive. However, I'm curious about how the extension handles various TypeScript versions and whether you're considering support for additional languages in future updates.
