UIDCaption: Automatic and animated captions, completely offline

UIDCaption started because we wanted a simpler way to add captions to our own videos. We didn't want another subscription just for captions, and we didn't like uploading every video to the cloud just to process it. We wanted something we could open on Windows, drop a video into, generate the captions and then actually see and edit everything visually. Most importantly, we wanted the whole process to stay on our PC. At first it was just a small tool we were building for ourselves. Then we kept adding things we wanted, changing the UI, adding animations, removing things that felt unnecessary and fixing a lot of stuff along the way 😅 Eventually it stopped feeling like a small internal tool and became UIDCaption. Building it has been a really interesting process, and we're still improving it as we go. This is our first Product Hunt launch, so we're also pretty curious to see what people here think about it.
