Uncharted Year is a calm, free alternative to habit tracking. Instead of habits, streaks, or goals, your year becomes a living map. Each life area appears as an island. What you tend becomes clearer. What you ignore slowly fades. You don’t complete tasks or chase streaks. You simply log moments that mattered. No scores. No reminders. No pressure. Just an honest visual reflection of how attention shapes a year.

Hey Product Hunt 👋
I’m the creator of Uncharted Year.
I built this after years of using habit trackers and realizing something uncomfortable:
they were great at tracking activity, but not at showing what my life actually looked like over time.
Breaking streaks started to feel worse than missing the habit itself.
I felt productive but not necessarily aware.
So I built Uncharted Year as an experiment.
Instead of habits, streaks, or goals, your year becomes a living map.
Each major life area is an island. When you pay attention to an area, it becomes clearer. When you don’t, it slowly fades no resets, no guilt, no pressure.
Why use this?
- If streaks stress you out
- If daily tracking feels exhausting
- If you want reflection without being told what to fix
- If you care more about honesty than optimization
Uncharted Year doesn’t try to motivate you.
It doesn’t give advice.
It simply shows what happens when attention moves or doesn’t.
It’s completely free and changes slowly by design.
I’m really curious:
Does this feel meaningful or just aesthetic?
Would you use something like this over months, not days?
What part of your life would you want to see, not track?
Happy to answer any questions and thank you for taking a look 🌱
