@tiagorbf yay thank you for the kind words 🥰 and great question! This is one of the reasons why we initially decided to build Unlined - there's no app out there, especially for iOS, that makes your phone number smart. There's only a bunch of apps that automatically block spam calls, but they never go deeper into helping the user understand who is calling and WHY they are calling. Honestly, the visual voicemail feature from iOS on US phones is the closest to what's on the market.

@richinapps love that question! privacy is an important topic so glad that you're asking! Unlineds’ parent company is located in Europe and therefore we follow all GDPR regulations. Except for when the caller tells Unlined the reason for the call or leaves a voicemail, nothing is recorded or stored. We are also linking to our privacy policy from within the app, so users can be assured that we take this topic seriously!

@sarah_wright7 love that question, thank you 🤗 Unlined adds a layer of "intelligence" to your phone number by connecting to your calendar. Were you ever in a meeting or a Zoom call for work and someone you knew called - your partner, your colleague, maybe your parents - and you didn't know if that call would be super urgent or not. In any case, you're getting distracted as you see that incoming call, right? Through Unlined, those "trusted callers" would hear right away the announcement, that you are currently busy and that they can simply tell Unlined what they need. The response is transcribed in real time on your app so you see why they are calling. And in case of an urgent matter, you can receive the call and otherwise, it's simply ignored :)

@satyendra_sahani such a great question, thanks for that! This scenario is exactly what we are working towards now: How can Unlined differentiate between an important call from an unknown number vs. a spam call... For one, there's simply keyword-matching we can do - based on what the person is saying, the call is still allowed to get through for instance. We can even combine this information with your calendar - you might have a meeting with John Smith the next day and if he's calling from an unknown number, Unlined would still understand that this is a relevant call. So it'll be a combination of adding more rules and leveraging machine learning.
