Most software projects fail due to poor requirements, Userdoc empowers your team with sophisticated AI that ensures your project has the best chance of success. Generate user stories, personas, and user journeys with amazing levels of detail.
Congrats on the launch Chris!
It looks amazing, this definitely will help a lot of freelancers and agencies.
It's not an easy task at all to produce good documentation for requirements and is so time-consuming.
I see this product as a game-changer for the industry!
Looking forward to seeing how you keep improving it :)
I used this on a few projects.
Made story writing much easier.
Particularly helpful ensuring incoming changes are correctly accounted for in all existing stories and user workflows.
AI + Story writing is a no brainer. Saves heaps of mental effort.
Sounds like a great tool and great use of AI! Congrats, Chris!
Also, love your content on X and resonates a lot with me.

@ebenezer_ajaero Wow - Thank you so much. I'm biased, but I completely agree, and feel software requirements will be revolutionised in a couple of years (or earlier!!) 🙂

👋 Hey there! Just stumbled upon Userdoc and it looks like a game changer for software development! 😃 It's great to see a tool that addresses the common issue of vague requirements. 💡 I'm curious, how does the AI adapt to different project scopes and complexities? Moreover, how does Userdoc handle potential changes in requirements during the development phase? Your tool seems to offer a promising solution to a common industry problem. Looking forward to trying it out! 👍

@yura_turivny Thanks Yura, you're totally right vague and ambiguous requirements are a HUGE issue (the U.S. spends 20 billion per year fixing requirements-related issues!)
🙋♂️ How does the AI adapt to different project scopes and complexities?
Userdoc's AI understands your end user's goals and needs and with your project overview, and then uses a lot of historical information and experience to craft the requirements.
This is for initial project creation, but many users already have existing projects - so they don't use AI automation at that point but import their user stories or manually enter them.
Once your requirements are in your Userdoc project, these then become the source of truth for future requirements and additions - so our AI gets better and better as there's more detail about your system.
🙋♂️ How does Userdoc handle potential changes in requirements during the development phase?
This is key, as requirements are not set in stone. All requirements are versioned, and specific versions can be sync'd to your project management tools. When viewing a version you see the user story and acceptance criteria "diff" just as you would in Github, which shows additions/removals/changes.
Versions can allow the developers to implement say "version 5" of the user story and acceptance criteria, whilst the product owner is working on "version 6" (and perhaps the QA team are still finalizing testing of "version 4" etc.)
Thanks for your feedback Yura, and love to hear more once you've had a chance to test it out!
Wow, Userdoc sounds like a game-changer for software development teams! I'm really intrigued by the use of AI to improve requirements gathering. Can you tell me more about how Userdoc's AI technology works? Does it analyze existing data or does it have a built-in knowledge base? Also, have you conducted any beta testing with teams to measure the impact on project success rates? I think this could be incredibly valuable for streamlining the development process and reducing the risk of project failures. Looking forward to learning more about Userdoc and its potential in the software industry!

@alex_kachalov Thank you Alex! In regards to how the AI works, take a look at my comment on "Yura Turivny's comment above, but in essence it both analyses the data AND has a built-in knowledge base :)
It also is tailored specifically to your Userdoc project, so it creates very detailed and accurate results.
🙋♂️ Have you conducted any beta testing with teams to measure the impact on project success rates?
Yes, one of our largest clients conducted thorough tests with their development team and product teams, and uncovered that based on their very specific requirements Userdoc's "AI accuracy and relevance was around 70%" - so this saved them a huge amount of time, and as a "first draft" of their system requirements significantly improved their processes.
