Hi everyone, I’m Norbert the creator of V‑index, a quantum resistant physical TRNG.
Most people don’t realize that the random numbers behind our passwords and encryption keys are often mathematical simulations. With future quantum computers, these simulations may become predictable.
I wanted to change that by bringing physical entropy to everyone’s browser without any special hardware.
What’s different?
V‑index TRNG uses your microphone to capture real environmental noise (air molecules, thermal randomness). But the key innovation is the V‑index.
The V‑index:
It’s a real time physical metric that measures information density. If the sound environment is too quiet or artificial, the system refuses to generate a key. Only acoustically validated entropy is allowed into the browser’s CSPRNG.
Privacy first:
Everything runs locally in your browser. Nothing is uploaded. Fully open‑source (GPL‑3.0) and written in pure JavaScript.
