Vamos

@LuisDaniel_A is super well known in the European (especially Berlin) startup scene and vamos has been around for quite some time. I am super excited to see the new version :)

@nikitakorotaev we actually released a completely new web platform too, and an Android-app is just a couple of weeks away. On top of FB and Eventbrite, Vamos also pulls in events from Ticketmaster, Eventim and StubHub and we're adding more sources every month making us one of the most complete catalogues of events in the world with over half a million events monthly in our backend. What makes Vamos special today and moving forward is our event recommendation engine that finds the user a personalised list based on their location, profile, where friends are going and venues with previous "joins" on FB.

Looks good, guys! I downloaded the first version of Vamos after seeing it on ArcticStartup ages ago -- this is a huge improvement!

@toddg777 what differentiates us against e.g Hangtime is that we are building an "Event Graph" for each user which allows us to provide event recommendations tailored to each user (no matter where they are in the world, on which platform or what preferences they might have). The event recommendation algoritm is something we're perfecting every day and as it's getting better and better it is also the one thing that makes us different against everyone else.
