Velatura is a native Mac workspace for architectural and interior-design render revisions. Keep the approved parent, create a child variation for a selected region, compare both versions, and export the selected result.

Velatura was inspired by a problem our co-founder experienced every day in her work as an architect specialising in interior design and architectural visualisation.
Existing tools could produce impressive images, but the workflow around them was often frustrating. Creating alternatives, responding to client feedback, changing one material or area, and keeping track of the best versions involved repeated renders, disconnected files, and a lot of manual work. Too often, making one small change meant risking everything that already worked.
We initially approached Velatura as a way to make AI rendering more accessible to architects and designers. As we developed it, however, we realised that generating the first image was only a small part of the real problem. The difficult part was everything that happened afterwards: comparing directions, preserving approved versions, refining individual areas, and maintaining a clear history of the project.
That insight shaped Velatura into a native Mac workspace rather than just another image generator. It lets designers begin with the views and sketches they already have, explore presentation options, keep successful versions intact, and make focused revisions without losing the path that led there.
Ultimately, we built the tool our co-founder wished she had in her own daily practice.
