VeloTools is a free suite of browser utilities: image compress, PDF tools, invoices, QR codes, background remover, and Focus Room. Everything runs in your browser (Canvas / WebAssembly). Your files are not uploaded to our servers. No account required. Built for people who need real tools without giving up document privacy.

Maker here — thanks for checking VeloTools.
I built this because most “free” PDF/image tools upload your files to a server. That doesn’t work for confidential docs or people who don’t want another account.
VeloTools runs in the browser (Canvas / WebAssembly). Compress, invoices, QR, background remove, Focus Room — files stay on your device. No signup.
Happy to answer questions about the architecture, tradeoffs, and what’s next.

💡 Bright idea
Love that everything runs locally, that is rare these days. One thing that would make it stickier for me: add a tiny "recent files" or quick-access panel so I can rerun the same compress or PDF merge without re-uploading. Right now I lose track between tabs.

@sienna_calloway Thank you so much — that means a lot. Privacy-first / fully local is exactly what we’re building VeloTools around, so it’s great to hear that stood out.
And yes — a tiny “recent files” / quick-access panel is a fantastic idea. Losing context between tabs is a real friction point, and being able to quickly re-run the same compress or PDF merge without re-uploading would make the tools much stickier.
We’re grateful for the suggestion and will definitely work on it. Thanks again for trying VeloTools and for taking the time to share such thoughtful feedback.

Hi Sienna — thank you again for that suggestion. It really stuck with us.
We just shipped a privacy-first “Recent on this device” panel on Image Compressor, PDF Compressor, and Merge PDF.
By default it only remembers the file name + your last settings (no file bytes). If you want true one-click re-run, there’s an explicit opt-in to keep the file locally in your browser for 24 hours — never uploaded, auto-deletes, and you can clear or “forget bytes” anytime.
So you get what you asked for, and a bit more: faster re-runs without re-tuning settings, without giving up the zero-upload promise.
