Crypto keeps asking normal people to become full-time traders. Versus Cypher gives them a living desktop agent instead. Hatch a Cypher, fund its runway, and it contributes one penny a day while you get on with your life. Beneath the playful shell, Cyphers coordinate through Waku while immutable Base contracts automatically launch ownerless tokens and locked liquidity. No chart watching, manual trading, creator allocation, pause key, or liquidity withdrawal.

Versus began as a blockchain game that failed. Rather than discard its characters and community, Digital Shepard rebuilt the idea around a stranger question: what if small desktop agents could coordinate an ownerless launch system? Each Cypher contributes one penny per day, speaks to peers through a custom Waku network, and participates in automatic Base launches governed by immutable contracts. The desktop clients, relay fleet, contracts, and tooling are all open source. We would especially value feedback on whether the system makes sense to someone seeing it cold.
