Hey Product Hunt, I built VEYL from 35+ years of searching for clarity through retreats, seminars, books, executive coaches, healers, therapists, and every framework I could find. Over time, I realized that real change doesn’t come from collecting more inputs. It comes from seeing your own patterns clearly enough to close the loop. Going inward and becoming self aware.
That’s why I created VEYL.
It’s a voice-first AI for self-reflection and clearer decisions. Instead of giving generic advice or pulling you into endless chats like other AI tools, VEYL is designed to help you hear yourself, surface recurring patterns, and arrive at one clear next step.
I didn’t want to build another assistant that sounds smart. I wanted to build a tool that feels profound because it helps you think more clearly for yourself.
VEYL brings together decades of learning into a simple experience:
-talk naturally
-uncover the deeper pattern
-close the loop with clarity
Would love your feedback on:
-whether it feels meaningfully different from general AI tools
-whether the reflections feel insightful vs generic
-where you see it helping most: getting unstuck, self-awareness, or decision-making

Tried it on a work stress spiral and was surprised how it nudged me to spot a pattern I had been repeating for weeks, not just vent at it. The single next step at the end was actually doable, not some vague advice.

@hkalmuk14663 Really glad it did that. That's the exact thing I was chasing, most tools let you vent and you feel lighter for five minutes but nothing actually changes. Spotting the pattern you've been repeating for weeks is the part that matters, and if the next step isn't something you'd actually do, it's not really a next step. Thanks for giving it a real test on something real.

the voice-first approach feels like such a natural fit for working through mental clutter instead of adding more text to scroll through. love that it ends each session with one clear next step rather than leaving you hanging.

@helpsco Appreciate that! Voice just works differently than typing when you're trying to untangle your own thoughts, there's less friction and less performing for the screen. Really hearing yourself sometimes diffuses your thoughts and emotions. Glad the one clear next step landed the way I hoped it would.

It's cool, super fast to help me figure out what to do when I'm confused on what's next

@timdburnham Thanks Tim, that's the whole goal, cutting through the noise fast so you're not stuck spinning and looping. Would love to hear what kind of decisions you've used it for so far.

The voice-first approach is genuinely clever, cutting through the endless chat fatigue I get from other reflection tools. Love that it nudges you toward one concrete next step instead of letting the conversation sprawl.

@zeb_bei Thank you Adaline, that's exactly the problem I was trying to solve. So many tools just add more words to sift through when what you actually need is to stop, hear yourself, and land on the one next step. Really glad that came through. It's all about closing the loop instead of the endless loop.
