As a designer, Claude Code massively expanded what I can build, but the terminal was painful. When Claude is running or I hit usage limits, I can’t plan future prompts or features without bouncing between markdown files, Google Docs, and Notion. So I built Vibey a simple Mac app with a built-in terminal for Claude Code, pages to draft prompts, PRDs, and feature plans, and one-click send to Claude. Plan while Claude runs. Ship faster. I’m a product designer, and for years my ideas got stuck in Figma. Using Claude Code changed that suddenly I can bring designs to life. However I find the terminal is painful for planning, and when Claude is running or I hit usage limits, I’m stuck bouncing between markdown files, Google Docs, and Coda to plan what’s next.
So I built Vibey. It’s a simple Mac app that lets designers and indie devs:
• Plan prompts and features
• Write PRDs and step-by-step plans
• Run Claude Code in a built-in terminal
• Send prompts to Claude with one click
The goal is to make building, planning, and implementing with Claude seamless so you can go back and forth with Claude in one place. Share what you want to build, have Claude generate PRDs and step-by-step plans, refine them in Vibey, and send them back to Claude to execute.
This is V1.0 I’m planning features like richer prompt planning and better back-and-forth workflows so you and AI can collaborate even more smoothly.
