Very neat! One thing that would be interesting is an ability to upvote or downvote the question afterward (or something similar) I think extending is a good addition, the 2 minutes felt a bit short, but it's a bit easy to abuse and keep extending. Maybe you should only be able to extend a single time?

@cronokirby I like the idea of rating the question so we can figure out which ones are good! As for extending, both sides have to agree to extend for the extension to happen. But I agree that it might be good to set a norm that people should try to talk to more different people!

Is it completely random? I'd be more interested in conversation with people in my general area. After the lockdowns we could potentially meet. But it's just a suggestion.

@marian_nicolleti That's a great idea. Maybe possible once there are more users on the site. Right now, it's better to have it completely random so that you're not waiting around forever for a match!

A very awesome idea when you are in a locked situation, though I would still prefer to meet people in real life conditions :) I was thinking this idea could be utilized for a long time in the cases where people can not move and are stuck to their beds or houses (ex: sick, paralyzed, in hospitals, tech savvy elderly community...)

@liana_avetian Of course. Nothing can compare to real life. But I hope that this is a reasonable substitute for when that's not possible. Also, getting to meet lots of random people from all is sometimes hard to do in real life! So this hopefully helps enable that!

Hello, is there a fee to use this technology? Can this be limited to a selected group of people? Does something have to be down loaded in order to attend a chat at the Cafe?

Where's the 'cafe' part of this? Can you show other people having conversations in a gallery view - so it feels like a cafe? Rather than a chat room? But obviously have the other people on mute?
