Voiczy uses Linking Language Technique and voice immersion to help learn new languages naturally. We mimics native language acquisition, making learning fun and effective. This is in particular quite helpful for Kids to build vocabulary fast and gain confidence through exercises. Our focus is on listening skill which gradually helps with speaking as well.

Hello Product Hunt community! We're excited to introduce Voiczy, born from our experiences as parents raising multilingual children. Our app focuses on natural language acquisition for kids aged 3-6, using two key innovations: - Linking Language Technique: Connects new words to familiar concepts, accelerating learning. - Voice Immersion: Uses AI-generated speech for a native-like learning experience, just like how kids learn their first language. Key features: - Tailored for young learners (3-6 years old) - Fast vocabulary building - Confidence-boosting voice exercises - Fun, engaging activities mimicking natural learning We've seen fantastic results with our own children and beta testers. We originally built Voiczy because our 2-year-old son was struggling to learn Dutch. As expat parents, we tried many different apps and approaches to help him speed up the learning process, fearing he might fall behind. We realized he wasn't engaging enough in his pre-school, playing with other kids. We understood his struggle to learn Dutch was part of the issue, which is why we rushed to test various methods and apps, but unfortunately, none worked for us. Out of necessity, we decided to build our own app because we knew our son could learn languages. He was already (at age 2) able to communicate very well with us in two different languages we spoke at home. We thought the problem was with those apps that were trying to teach him a language using only that language. We then experimented with very early versions of Voiczy, playing vocabulary in a language he knew, then playing the vocabulary in Dutch. With a few repetitions and games, he could quickly memorize them. We tried this method with different kids, and the results were great! Hey @ebru_aydin, love what you're doing with Voiczy! Super helpful for parents like me with bilingual kids. Quick question tho: Does the app adapt to different levels of language ability, or is it more like one-size-fits-all? Excited to try it out with my 4-year-old!

@christopher_andersona Thanks so much for your comment! Yes, there is some logic working behind the scenes. Based on the words your child has already learned, the system recommends new ones. It also avoids suggesting too many words at once, so kids don’t feel overwhelmed. There's a threshold in place where, after a certain point, previously learned words are repeated to reinforce mastery and memorization. We’ve adjusted this over time, as we noticed kids getting bored if a word shows up too often, so we’ve spaced out the repetition to keep things engaging. Additionally, each word has its own difficulty level. Once your child learns a particular word, related words that build on that knowledge will gradually be introduced. For example, you wouldn’t expect a child to learn the number 10 before they’ve mastered 9. The same principle applies to vocabulary and sentences—kids need to grasp simpler words first before moving on to more complex ones. If they haven't fully mastered the easier words, the harder ones won’t appear until they’ve reached a certain level of understanding and repetition. @alexandermoore Thanks so much for your comment! Regarding the age group, we believe that with some theme adjustments, this method could be highly effective for adult learners as well. We're currently exploring this idea, but for now, we'll focus on seeing how people engage with the kid-specific app. As we gather more feedback, we'll consider expanding to adults in the future.
