Hey PH members,
Akshay here, co-founder of Wauld.
A few months ago, we started building Wauld with one belief - in a world where technology evolves every month and AI is reshaping how we learn and work, recognizing real skills has never been more crucial. That’s why we built Wauld, to help organizations create skills that are both recognizable and verifiable.
Today, most organizations still rely on PDFs and paper certificates, making it impossible to track engagement or verify authenticity. Traditional methods no longer work, yet building a secure, verifiable credentialing system in-house is complex, expensive, and time-consuming.
Here's the problem:
1. Disconnected workflows kill productivity. Organizations juggle 3-4 different tools just to manage certificates: designing in Canva, sending via an email tool, and verifying manually.
2. Most credentialing tools are just fancy PDF generators. They create static files but give you zero visibility into how recipients actually engage with them.
3. Verification is a nightmare. Fake certificates are everywhere, and proving authenticity takes manual work every single time.
Wauld, an end-to-end digital credential management platform, gets your credentialing program set up in minutes - just design, issue, and start tracking.
Some of the fey highlights of the platform are:
→ 600+ professional certificate and badge templates that can be customized to match your brand.
→ Three-step verification process powered by Wauld’s digital credential registry that eliminates fraud.
→ Track real time engagement with who opens, shares, adds to LinkedIn, requests verification.
If you're curious how Wauld can transform your credentialing process, please email me directly at akshay@wauld.com. I would be happy to assist.
Wauld also has a free plan that can be used for issuing up to 300 certificates or badges. For all Product Hunt users, we are offering a 40% discount on our Growth plan.

I have been using Wauld for a little while now and I'm genuinely impressed! The platform just works, no unnecessary complexity, clean interface, and issuing credentials is actually fast.
I've been recommending it to everyone who deals with certificates or badges. The verification system is solid and recipients love how easy it is to share their credentials.
Really looking forward to the Canva integration, that's going to be a game-changer! 🔥
Congrats on the launch, team! 🚀

@akshay_gupta25 @umar_lateef Hi Umar, thank you for the support. You have been really helpful in giving us early feedback! Canva integration is already in research and design phase. Will keep you posted.
Congratulations @akshay_gupta25 & @gaurav_charokar on the launch! Wauld has been rock solid in my testing so far, and I'm waiting on Canva and other updates. Also, look into blockchain for web3-native credentialing, as it's an untapped opportunity!
@akshay_gupta25 @sartajanand Hi Sartaj, all of this is under discussion internally and are being planned. We will keep you posted as we have updates to share.
@sartajanand Thank you, Sartaj!
@karman_singh_bhatia Hi Karman, yes we allow exporting all credential data (including engagement metrics) as CSV/Excel. Let me know if you have any other questions.
Big congrats on the launch!
As someone who has had to coordinate digital certificates manually in the past, this really hits home. I remember seeing my parents and their team using separate tools for design, spreadsheets for tracking, and mail merges for sending and issuing the certificates.
Trust me It was such a fragmented workflow that was prone to error. And I so wish we had access to tools like Wauld back then!
While using the dashboard.... the QR verification feature caught my eye immediately. People often forget that issuing the badge is only half the battle. Ensuring it is verifiable is where the real trust comes in. Having that built in rather than relying on third-party validators is a really smart move, really liked it!
I am curious though, does Wauld currently integrate with existing LMS platforms like Kajabi or Thinkific for auto-issuing upon course completion? Or is it primarily set up for batch uploads right now?
Either way, this solves a real problem!
@aashima_sharma3 Hi Aashima, thank you for the detailed review. Integration with LMS platforms is currently under works. We expect to release these integrations early next year.
Clap clap clap Akshay! Verifying skills are key in this moment, imagine in the future. I guess it's a matter of viralization cause you need many people applying and using those badges. How is your business model here?
@german_merlo1 Thanks a lot! You’re right, skill verification will only get more crucial as learning keeps moving faster. Our model is pretty straightforward: we charge organizations for issuing their badges and certificates (based on number of credentials), while keeping it completely free for learners to receive, manage, and share them. Hope this helps.
When issuing certificates in bulk, what kind of data validation is applied to names, dates and identifiers before issuance @Wauld ?
