Still using PDF templates in Goodnotes?
It's time to stop wandering from one PDF to another—come to Whatting! You can create your own custom diary layout by combining widgets just the way you like.
Such a slick design! Great work, folks! I’ve been looking for a diary app for a while and will try this one for sure! It’d be awesome if it synced with GCal, too.
Thank you — that means a lot! 🙏 We’re so excited for you to try it, and GCal sync is definitely something we’re exploring. Would be a game-changer for productivity lovers like you! 💡📅

Congratulations on the launch! I don't own an iPad, but I like the design and creativity you have put in here! I wish this was for Android too. The modular approach is genius. All the best guys!
Thank you so much for the kind words! 🙏 We’re so happy you appreciated the design and modular concept — that’s what we poured our hearts into. And great news: the Android version is coming this May! Stay tuned 🚀📱
@chanwoo_kim Congrats Chanwoo! Whatting feels like the diary app we’ve all been waiting for, intuitive, flexible, and finally designed for real, messy, ever-changing lives. Excited to see where you take it!
Thank you so much — that truly means a lot 🙌 That “real, messy, ever-changing life” is exactly what we designed for — and hearing you felt that makes it all worth it. We’re excited for the journey ahead, and grateful to have your support along the way! 🚀
Finally, a diary app that understands iPad users! As someone who's bounced between countless PDF templates in Goodnotes, Whatting feels like a breath of fresh air. The ability to create custom layouts with widgets is exactly what I've been looking for - it's like having the flexibility of digital with the personal touch of a physical journal.
Love how I can arrange everything just the way my brain works, rather than forcing myself to fit into pre-made templates. The UI is clean and intuitive too. Curious to see what new widgets you'll add in future updates! 📱✨
This honestly means the world to us 🥹💛 We know the struggle of bouncing between static templates, and built Whatting to be the opposite — something that bends to you, not the other way around. So happy the flexibility, layout freedom, and clean UI are resonating. And yes — new widgets are on the way. Can’t wait to share what’s next!

Traditional journaling apps often confine users to predefined templates, but Whatting breaks that mold.
I must say, Whatting gives a refreshing take on digital journaling. And people who value flexibility & creativity in their journaling practice are going to love this a lot.
Kudos to the Whatting team, @chaebeen_kwon, @chanwoo_kim, @ce1ina & @ahjung for developing such an innovative solution that caters to the evolving needs of modern journalers.
Wow… your words seriously gave us chills 🥹💛 Thank you so much for seeing Whatting for what it truly is — not just another journaling app, but a whole new way of thinking about self-expression.
We’ve always felt that traditional templates were too limiting for the beautifully chaotic, creative lives we live — and your message captured that perfectly. Hearing that our modular, freeform approach resonates with people who value flexibility and creativity in journaling? That’s everything we dreamed of.
Big love to you for taking the time to write this — and from the whole team @chaebeen_kwon@chanwoo_kim@ce1ina@ahjung, thank you from the bottom of our hearts 💛 Let’s change the way people journal — together. 🚀📓✨
