Hello world! 👋
I'm V, and this is my first app. I built it solo, and it launches today on my grandfather's birthday.
Why I built it:
Every month I'd look at my bank balance and wonder where it all went. My statement didn't help. In India, half of it is UPI lines with a random name or ID and no hint of what the money was spent on. Budgeting apps wanted me to log in, link my bank, sync with different finance apps and hand over years of data just to answer one question.
After my EU trip in June 26', my statements were a mess, different cards spends, multiple forex transactions and no app could keep a track.
So I built the thing I wanted: drop in a statement and get a straight answer. No account, no bank linking, nothing to set up.
What it does:
Upload a bank, credit card or UPI statement as a PDF or CSV - See your biggest money leaks, small repeat charges that quietly add up, back-to-back spending, and how fast your pay disappears after payday
All the maths is done by code, not AI, so the totals are exact and the AI never guesses a number.
Get the report in English, Hinglish, Hindi, Spanish or Portuguese as of now and in a tone you pick.
Reports are deleted after 48 hours, and the checkup is free.
What would really help me:
Does it read your statement correctly? Which bank or card you used, and anything it got wrong. Every bank formats statements differently, and that's where I need the most help.
Does the privacy part feel believable? What would make you trust it enough to upload a real statement?
Was the report actually useful? Did you learn something about your spending, or did it just tell you what you already knew?
US folks: which statements do you most want supported? Venmo, Cash App, PayPal, something else?
Anything confusing, from the first screen to the end of the report.
Brutal feedback is welcome. It's my first launch, so I'll be here all day replying to every comment.
Thanks for checking it out 🙏
