The USPTO bulk files contain huge XML datasets with filings, owners, assignments, proceedings, classes, and status changes. Turning that into something searchable and useful is not trivial. For years the data processing side of this project felt like a wall. Recently I started experimenting with vibe coding and it completely changed what was possible. Instead of getting stuck on the plumbing, I could focus on the product and the insights hidden inside the data. WikiTrademarks is the result. The goal is simple: help people understand how brands expand. Trademark filings often reveal where companies are going long before products launch or markets notice. You can explore trademark owners, track filings across NICE classes, monitor brand websites for messaging changes, and discover emerging brands.
