I'm a beginner, learning python in the VScode IDE. Before Codeium I would have to Google and trawl through multiple stack overflow or random python websites to find similar solutions to my problem. Now I ask Codeium chat to help me frame out my task, then give me examples, then give me an opinion on which library would be best, then explain what a method is doing...and it never ever gets fed up and tells me to go and Google it, never!!! One of the best features I've been enjoying is the supernatural code completion. The last project I was working on used tkinter for a gui. Codeium's example just had the basic code to show the window. Once I had it running I thought to myself, i really need a label to remind myself what to do, I made some white space in the window generating code section to write a new comment and code complete gave me an example of resizing the gui window (automatically)...I thought...yes I do need that too, so pressed tab to complete it..took a new line and it gave me example code for a label..It was a magical moment!!! Truly game changing software, thank you for making it so convenient to learn!

By far the most advanced AI code editor out there. I'm blown away by its capabilities. It truly is like having a sidekick with you that you can go to at any time for any kind of help. I only wish there was a button within the Source Control to generate a commit message. Currently, you have to CMD+P ">Windsurf: Generate commit message"

Gain GOD power when trying to build out a new app/idea. I had an idea for a few months. Don’t know D3. In one hour talked with Windsurf and had the webpage done. This is awesome. Need a paid version so I can make sure you guys survive

Wow I loved the agentic workflow via Cascade. I also use GitHub Copilot and Cursor and love how AI is helping me develop faster. But the speed and automation Windsurf brings via its Cascade mode is mind blowing. Its feels like an experienced dev working along with me who can create files, execute commands and above all reflect on its code and improve it. Most of the time I just say something like "build this feature where....." and cascade just takes over and gets the job done as I sip my coffee. Very impressive! There are some rough edges like cascade taking time to connect or connection timeouts, auto complete not as good as Cursor, sometimes cascade tries to overengineer things or some approach produces an error but this is just the start. I'm excited to see where Windsurf takes my coding experience in the coming months.

Only just started using but the interface is very snapping, familiar and good at making well place AI code changes / generation into an application setting. So far the integration and flow works very well and I am keen to keep using and see where this ends up.
