WishfulMail lets kids safely write magical letters to Santa, the Tooth Fairy, the Easter Bunny and more — while parents secretly receive the messages. It keeps childhood wonder alive in a private, COPPA-compliant, ad-free space built for families.
Because it lets kids capture the wonder of writing to magical friends while giving parents a completely private, ad-free inbox to keep those memories.
What needs improvement
More character themes and customization options so each child’s experience feels more unique.
vs Alternatives
I picked WishfulMail because it turns simple kid memories into something you can keep. I ended up writing my own letter to Santa and realized how secretly fun this is for adults, too. :D
We built WishfulMail to bring back the joy of handwritten letters — but in a digital, safe way.
As parents, we realized there was no modern platform where kids could write to their favorite magical friends without ads, data collection, or exposure to strangers.
WishfulMail keeps imagination alive while giving parents full control and privacy.
We’re proud that it’s 100% free, family-friendly, and COPPA-compliant — because childhood magic should never come with a price tag.
We’d love your feedback — which magical friend should we add next? 🦄🎅🧚♀️

💡 Bright idea
This is so adorable 🥹 I love how it keeps the magic of childhood alive while staying safe. The idea of parents secretly receiving the letters is genius too, feels like a modern twist on handwritten notes. And honestly, perfect timing for launch since it’s almost Christmas (Mariah Carey says so 🎶😄). Maybe add the "Dream Fairy" next? For kids who share their dreams at night 💭
@rishiuttamhk not at all. Every response is hand written. No generic messages, I assure you. So if you child writes a letter to any of our characters, child will get only hand written responses. :)

Vladimir - very cool idea, and glad to see you're taking the family-friendly and compliance approach. What do you see as the path to adoption? How do we get kids (and parents) actually using WishfulMail?
@andrewdilts good question Andrew, thank you. I imagine parent will suggest to kid to write a letter to a magical character. Something like, hey son, did you know that Santa Claus now got an email you can write a letter to? Then kid writes email, parent gets it in the mailbox, login into app and reply to mail. Once he does that, he call the kid, excited, saying that Santa has replied and they read parent email together! I see they can sent email for a birthday wish, tooth fairy, or any occasion.

Can we change the colors for Boys and Girls. Maybe keeping it a bit generic.

@george_esther its ON!
How will you compete with the post office? I believe most will respond with a generic message from the north pole :)
