I love this app and I've upgraded. The only nice feature I miss from Monosnap is the ability to drag the screenshot into an open app window (there's a Drag Me tab to the side). Can you annotate scrolled screenshots? The numbered annotations are an amazing feature.

perfect solution to let me work quicker and would replace the native screenshot + skitch. I installed but uninstalled again when searching for the option to upgrade to Pro. I don't do subscription and I can't give it a test during my production time as there is always a watermark. Also, the fact annual subscription price can just rise killed my consideration completely. 1/ Go for a trial period + ask a 1 time price. I would even pay up to 15 euro for a tool that really makes my daily worklife easier. 2/ Use upgrade prices as you add new functionalities I hope I can use this app 1 day ... cause looks very useful. Any idea for Windows?

@ssstofff Thank you, new feature under developing, subscribe can make Xnip go further. I think asking for a new pay when big feature version comes and stop maintenance the old version actually makes no difference of subscriptions. Will consider a one time price in some point. No windows version on the plan.

I think CleanShot X and Xnip are the most successful and functional products in this regard. I congratulate you on this product, which is very successful for any use. What are the advantages of Xnip compared to CleanShot X? I am curious about your explanation on this subject. Thanks,

@ksarizeybek Except for taking screenshots, CleanShot X can also record gif and videos. Xnip is more focused on making screenshots, currently. I believe Xnip is better than Cleanshot X to make a screenshot. Xnip can make annotations instantly after you select a region, in other App, you need to open an independent to make annotations. I believe Xnip's free version is enough for most people. And I think the price of Xnip Pro is not expensive at all. If you want more features beyond make screenshots. I think CleanShot X would be a better choice (also a more expensive choice).

@ezekielzzd This application would be PERFECT with one small change: add a stroke to the annotation features so that annotations stand out against similarly shaded backgrounds.

Hi Zeke,

I’ve been using Xnip and really appreciate the app — it’s one of the most refined screenshot tools on macOS. However, I’ve been experiencing a consistent issue trying to purchase the Pro version: the app freezes with a loading spinner when I click the Buy button (both yearly and lifetime options).

I’ve reached out multiple times to the support email (xnip.app@gmail.com) over the past month but haven’t received any response. Just wanted to check if the team is still active and if there’s a workaround or manual activation option available?
