Some cool UI exploration, the lack of calendar integration (which is a must-have) is a dealbreaker though.
Also, small pointer - having the X button in the onboarding be on the 1st page and not being able to exit from the last page (i.e. I have to scroll back to the first page) is a little nonstandard, I'd change that for v2!
Hi, thank you Margaret for hunting my app and everyone for your comments ! This is Momeks developer of Yearly. Actually this my first experience on developing app in Swift language, I never thought it's gonna be really trending app!. But let me explain why this is so simple.
First and foremost I am not fan of iOS/Gmail calendars they have so much complex options so I thought if some one link me try to use a calendar I prefer the simplest one.Secondly I think you are right still there are some features like sync and etc… that should be added to the app,but I am trying to change the main idea from calendar to a reminder app. I think this drops some expectations!.
By the way I would like to share my other apps like Audiogram (http://audiogramapp.com) and Find It (http://appersian.net/findit).
Love that someone's working on a Sunrise replacement but like others mentioned, it's pretty much useless without a Google Calendar integration. Also, I'm really not into the overly-bouncy interactions. +1 for simplicity.
Slick design 👌🏼 would be awesome with the ability to add several reminders before and on the event's date. Also weekly/monthly view maybe by pinching to collapse the rows..
The UI is nice but it's functionality is clunky. You're limited to one view and it requires a lot of back and forth work just to see what's on your calendar. Plus no integrations that I can see. It's feels nice, but isn't practical to use.
