How does it actually handle sensitive documents like medical reports — where is the data stored and processed, especially the voice part?

Documents you upload are encrypted at rest using AES-256 and are stored on your account only. They are never sent to any AI company's servers for training — not ours, not anyone else's.
For voice: the audio is processed locally on the device first (wake word detection runs fully on-device). When a query needs the cloud LLM, only the text transcript is sent — not the raw audio recording.
On the Pro plan, YeongSil uses its own native LLM, which means your query doesn't touch OpenAI or Google at all.

How does it actually keep your files private when it's connected to the internet for outside answers?

When Sil needs to check the internet (weather, news, prices), it sends only your query — not your documents. Your uploaded files never leave your account to answer a web search.
The way it works: Sil checks your documents first, answers from them if it can, and only reaches the internet if the question genuinely needs current information. The two are kept completely separate.
Your documents are encrypted and stored in your private account. They are never used as context for any web request, and they are never shared with or used to train any AI model. 🔒
The hands-free call feature actually worked when I tested it, which I wasn't expecting. Wish the waitlist wasn't so long.
@ayegl48348 Ayşegül - that's so good to hear! Hands-free calling is one of those features that sounds simple but needs everything to work together perfectly - voice recognition, contact lookup, call initiation — without you touching anything.

The "answer from your files first" behaviour is the core of what separates Sil from a smart speaker or a chatbot. It should feel like talking to someone who actually read the document — not a search engine that found something vaguely related.

Doğan, this is exactly the sentence that started it all for us. A client told us his father would never use our AI — not because it wasn't smart enough, but because it required a screen and a login and a keyboard. That conversation is why YeongSil exists.
