@jamie_mcgregor quick question, is the platform set to work with any automation? And i'll gladly hop onto the pro account with IGTV implemented for sure. matter of fact, I have several integration partnerships at that point. lets chat sometime
@brucekraftjr Hey Bruce. You're in luck as I have just finished implementing the ability to post to IGTV in the Pro account today!
You can see it in action here:

Happy to have a chat sometime :)
@conrad_ehing Hi Conrad, there's also the 'pro' option for $12 a month which allows you to post unlimited videos without a watermark.
I'd be interested to hear if that sounds too high?
Report
@jamie_mcgregor I think it depends on what other tools you are using.....we currently use adobe creative cloud to modify/edit videos and other posts for soical media. I think this could be a good solution for those that don't need the creative cloud because then it doesn't seem that expensive. However, we need creative cloud for other things and are already paying for it, so we might as well use those tools that we are already spending money on. This is more efficient but I don't think I would pay for it at $12/month when we can use the creative cloud tools (even though it takes more time).
@conrad_ehing Thanks Conrad, that's really interesting to hear. I suppose if you already have those tools at your disposal, the pain point in between them is minimal and probably not worth paying for.
I'll continue to add features to make the proposition more appealing (for example, I just added the ability to post the youtube clip to your IG story and well as the activity feed). I plan to add more advanced editing features but clearly, I'd never be on the level of Creative Cloud.
I'm always looking for feedback, so let me know if your marketing team are ever interested in giving Pro a try for free :)

@jamie_mcgregor I would definitely be up for giving my team a free trial and letting them decide if they can't live without it!
Hey everyone,
So I was in a situation a while ago when I wanted to post a clip I had uploaded to YouTube in the past to my Instagram account. To my surprise, this was quite a laborious task. The only way I could do this is to use a tool to download the video clip in a format that works for Instagram, manually send it to my phone and then post it.
I thought surely there must be a better way of doing this. To be honest, I sort of assumed there would already be tools doing this, as there are a plethora of "convert to" sites.
Anyway, if this is something I would find useful, maybe a few others would as well. So here it is!
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Jamie
Nice idea and landing page.
But, I put a YT link in and got back an error (looks like a 403) with a full stack trace printed to the browser (including server side source code & environment variables) which could become a security issue. I think you're using Laravel so you probably need to set APP_ENV to production in your env vars
@pauljohncleary Doh! Thanks so much for pointing that out, I've turned off the error report in production.
Now to try and figure out why it's giving a 403.
Congrats on the launch, looks great!
Any plans to add the ability for native video editing e.g. cutting and re-arranging content from the original YouTube video.
@lachlankirkwood Yes, I definitely plan to add those features. At the moment you can just choose one segment of the video but it would be great if you could stitch different parts together and create a sort of trailer for your youtube video!
I've got to get some users first though haha :) That seems to be the difficult part - not entirely sure who my customer is.

It's a great idea @jamie_mcgregor though I think the price of the pro plan and the size of your watermark for the free version may not be attractive to people especially if they are using lots of other tools and have multiple subscriptions for video marketing
@krishnade Thanks for the feedback, Krishna! I think you make a good point, people already have plenty of subscriptions for managing their social media which cover off just about everything, apart from this small element.
Out of interest, what do you think would be a reasonable price?
Report
@jamie_mcgregor Ah now that is a question. I might look at a slightly different freemium version making the watermark smaller and perhaps having a limit per month on the number of videos that can be created to invite people to then subscribe. That might increase interest in the platform for you. If you look at some other models they then have a tiered level - one tool I use which has a lot of features also allows a per video payment - and another offers people to purchase credits for use. Hope that helps.

Great tool! Are you planning to make this working for IGTV too?
