The YT Organizer browser extension transforms your YouTube "Watch Later" playlist into a customizable, drag-and-drop Kanban board. It enhances productivity by allowing you to add 1,000-character notes to videos, effortlessly hide or delete clutter, navigate using keyboard shortcuts in a native dark mode, and export your data directly to Notion or Obsidian with a single click using Markdown.

Hi Product Hunt! šĀ
I'm Rohit, the maker of YT Organizer.
I built this extension to scratch my own itch. I was constantly saving tech talks, tutorials, and project ideas to my Watch Later playlist, only to completely lose track of them weeks later. The default YouTube list just wasn't cutting it for productivity.
I wanted a way to categorize my videos the same way I triage my tasks with a Kanban board.
With YT Organizer, you can finally categorize that massive list, attach study notes to specific videos, and even export your curated lists to your favorite note-taking apps.
Here is what you can do with it:
Kanban Workflow: Drag and drop your saved videos into custom columns (like "Up Next," "In Progress," "Done," and "Music") so you actually finish what you start.
Study Notes: Note down study notes, timestamps, or ideas directly on the video card.
100% Private & Local: In a world of cloud subscriptions, I wanted this to be fast and secure. Everything is stored locally in your browser. Zero tracking, zero sync anxiety.
Pricing: The extension is completely free to use with up to 4 columns (which is plenty for most!). Power users who need unlimited columns and bulk-export can upgrade to Pro for a one-time fee of $5.
I'll be hanging out in the comments all day! Iād love to know: how do you currently manage your massive backlog of saved videos? Let me know what you think of the extension! š
P.S. You can use this extension to extract YouTube links saved in your Watch Later playlist in bulk to feed into NotebookLM. š
