ZardUI brings shadcn/ui's revolutionary philosophy to Angular. When you install a component, you get the complete source code - not a dependency. 35 components ready for Angular 19+, built with Tailwind CSS.

Hey Product Hunt community! π I'm one of the co-founders of ZardUI, and I'm thrilled to share what we've been building with 16 amazing contributors.
The backstory: As an Angular developer, I kept watching the React ecosystem with envy - especially when shadcn/ui came out. The idea of owning your component code instead of being locked into a library's decisions was revolutionary. I thought: "Why can't we have this for Angular?"
So we built it.
What makes ZardUI special: When you add a component, you get the complete source code - not a dependency. Every line of code becomes yours to modify, extend, or completely redesign. No more fighting with library limitations or waiting for bug fixes.
Personal note: After years of wrapping component libraries to make them fit our needs, building ZardUI felt like solving a problem I've faced in every Angular project. We're not trying to be another UI library - we're trying to change how Angular developers think about components.
We're in beta with 35 components, and honestly, we need your feedback to make this better. Whether you're an Angular developer or just curious about our approach, I'd love to hear your thoughts.
Feel free to ask me anything - about the technical decisions, our roadmap, or why we believe this approach is the future for Angular development.
Thank you for checking out ZardUI! If this resonates with you, your support means everything to a small team of developers trying to make a difference in the Angular ecosystem. π
P.S. - If you work with Angular (or know someone who does), I'd really appreciate you sharing this. We're a community project with no marketing budget - just developers building tools for developers! β
Excited to see ZardUI out in the wild! π Finally, Angular developers can own every line of their component code instead of being limited by a library. Itβs designed to give full control, flexibility, and freedom to customize components however you want.
Would love to hear what the community thinksβfeedback will help make it even better! π
Zard has been focused on simplicity and control of customization since the beginning. We are evolving rapidly and are very grateful for everyone's collaboration.
The best component library for angular today!
