Zella records your screen or camera and edits the video for you, on your own Mac or iPhone. Nothing uploads, no account, no subscription. Free at 1080p with no watermark. One tap runs Auto-Polish: captions, silence cuts, filler words removed, zoom-ins and a cleaned-up voice. Make it Viral adds pacing, transitions, sound effects and a music bed. Pro is one payment of $89 that unlocks Mac and iPhone together, for life, instead of a monthly bill.
I built Zella because every screen recorder I tried handed me a raw file and a timeline, and the editing was the part I kept not doing.
So Zella does it. You stop recording and the captions are already written, the silences and filler words are already cut, and the zoom-ins are already placed. If you want more, one button adds pacing, transitions, sound effects and a music bed.
The constraint I set myself was that all of it runs on your own machine. No upload, no queue, no account. It is slower to build that way and it rules out some features, but it means your footage never leaves your Mac or your phone, and it works with no connection at all.
It is free at 1080p with no watermark. Pro is one payment of $89 for both platforms, because I did not want to build another subscription.
Happy to answer anything.
