Building intuitive DX tools at Ark Lab

About

Founder of Ark Co., Ltd. in Tokyo. One developer, one dog, one PC. I build small tools around a simple idea: the information you need in an emergency exists somewhere, but never where you are when you need it. That led to survivalOS (disaster preparedness) and ANZEN (crime prevention), plus a few workflow tools along the way. I comment on launches in the areas I actually care about — developer tools, productivity, anything that touches how people handle information under pressure. I haven't launched anything here yet, but I plan to start sharing what I'm building.

Our top plan buys three and a half videos, and the pricing page doesn't say so

A 30 second 1080p video on our newest model costs 513 credits. The Studio plan is 1800 credits a month. So the honest sentence is that this plan gets you three of those and a bit.

Nothing on the pricing page says that. It says 1800 credits, which is a number nobody can convert into anything until they've already paid and spent a third of it on one generation.

Is raising money still in demand, or has the sentiment around VC funding changed?

When someone raised money, especially from a prominent VC with a strong reputation, like Antler or Y Combinator, the company immediately sounded more trustworthy to me.

But the latest analysis shared by @4kulia showed that in the first half of the year, only 26 launches were VC-funded.
