Hey PH! I'm Ayesha, building a "Brutally Honest" AI for founders 🌶️

Hi everyone!

I finally decided to stop lurking and start building in public. I'm a developer who realized that most of us (myself included!) are "too close" to our projects to see why users aren't converting.

I built RoastMyLanding to solve my own problem: I needed a designer's perspective without the $200/hr price tag. I trained an AI to act as a cynical, high-end design consultant that finds "Trust Leaks" in seconds.

The journey so far: I've done 96 roasts in the last week. It's been wild seeing the AI tell founders (politely, but firmly) that their headlines make no sense.

96 landing pages roasted by AI this week. What did I learn? (And 4 spots left)

Hi Makers!

I've spent the last week building RoastMyLanding an AI trained to think like a cynical designer to find "Trust Leaks" in SaaS landing pages.

I just hit 96 audits today, and the patterns of why pages fail to convert are becoming very clear. The top 3 issues I'm seeing:

  1. The "Hero" confusion: Founders explain what it is, but not why the user should care in the first 3 seconds.

  2. Ghost Towns: Zero social proof or "faceless" testimonials that don't build trust.

  3. Hidden CTAs: Buttons that blend into the background.

I was afraid of API costs, so I launched with no Free Tier. Here is why I just changed my mind.

Hey hunters, I m Ayesha (@AyeshaBuilds).

I ve been building RoastMyLanding from Bangladesh. Yesterday, I shared that I was worried about offering a "Free Tier" because of high API costs. But after thinking about it, I realized that as a maker, the best way to prove the value of my tool is to let you see it in action first.

So, I ve pivoted.

Hi I am Ayesha - Designer & Indie Hacker from Bangladesh building in public 🌶️

Hi everyone! I m Ayesha (@AyeshaBuilds), a designer turned indie hacker from Bangladesh.

I ve spent years looking at landing pages that look beautiful but fail to convert a single visitor. It s a common trap: we focus so much on the "vibe" that we forget to tell people why they should care.

RoastMyLanding - Brutal AI diagnosis of your landing page conversions

RoastMyLanding gives indie hackers a brutal 10-point conversion diagnosis. Paste any URL — get specific feedback on headline, CTA, social proof, pricing clarity, and visual hierarchy. Not a technical SEO scanner — a designer's eye on what actually kills conversions. Built by a designer who manually roasted 15+ landing pages in public before building this.

How do you decide what features should be free and what should be paid?

Let me start from the creator s perspective:
I personally don t have a product (apart from hiring people for creative work or offering personal consultations).

But as a creator, I constantly share content, insights, and information, value that helps me build trust (for free). Based on that perceived expertise, people eventually decide to work with me (a paid service).
