Clay is now Mesh

Today, Clay is becoming Mesh.

It's more than a name change. It's a commitment to a much broader vision.

As the world shifts, relationships have become both harder to maintain and more precious than ever. For the first time, we can actually map, understand, and activate networks at scale  dynamically, intelligently, and in real time.

In a mesh, nothing is truly isolated and nothing valuable is ever lost. That idea sits at the center of everything we're building. Because the future of relationships isn't about managing contacts. It's about understanding the shape of your entire network  and knowing how to move through it, grow it, and shape it.

You'll start to see Mesh roll out across our product, brand, and experiences starting today and over the coming weeks.

The cleanest stack for agents?

Laravel just shipped a new laravel.com with a bold headline:

The clean stack for Artisans and agents.

Laravel has always been opinionated and seems like a solid option in this AI era. Has anyone made the switch since they started working with coding agents?

I asked AI to Build a Competitor to My Own Product. It Did. Here’s What I Learned.

Last month, I did something that felt slightly insane.

I took our product description, fed it into ChatGPT, and asked it to build a competitor. Not a parody. A real competitor. Better features, better positioning, better everything. I told it to be ruthless.

It did!

The output was polished. Confident. Structured like a real go-to-market plan. It named features we don t have. It positioned itself against us. It looked like a threat on paper.

Do solo founders really need Datadog?

Hey everyone,
I m currently building a small SaaS product, and I started thinking seriously about monitoring.
Most tools (Datadog, New Relic, etc.) feel built for larger teams.
Powerful, yes but also complex and expensive.
So I m curious:
What do you actually monitor in your small or solo SaaS?
Do you track uptime only?
Do you track latency?
Do you rely on logs?
At what point does monitoring start feeling like overkill?
I m trying to understand what is truly essential vs. what is just enterprise noise .
Not selling anything just genuinely curious how other indie builders approach this.
Would love to hear your setups.

v1.3 - LED of caps lock now syncs to mute/unmute!

Thanks @morajabi for the LED code! Now, when you press Capslock, the LED will also toggle on and off.

It's a really brittle implementation right now and can easily de-sync. It assumes that you start muted and then, when you press Caps Lock, you un-mute. To switch the toggle, simply double tap Caps Lock.

I could imagine building out a series of checks to try and sync up Caps Lock, the Caps Lock LED with mute function. First, I wanted to ship a really simple version to see what it feels like. Try out the new app and let me know if the LED is an improvement!

This is how I spent money in 2025

Every year I reflect on how I spent money in the previous year. Previously, I have manually scraped my bank statements and put together a report, but 2025 was interesting because I built a fairly overkill personal finance product to make this report easy to generate for myself.

Because it is really easy, I m going to do a deep dive on how I spent money in 2025. (I was able to put this all together in ~10 mins)

Nvidia to buy AI chip startup Groq’s assets for about $20 billion in largest deal on record

Merry Christmas Jonathan Ross (Groq s Founder)! $20B will buy a lot of holiday cheer!

Today, Groq announced that it has entered into a non-exclusive licensing agreement with Nvidia for Groq s inference technology. The agreement reflects a shared focus on expanding access to high-performance, low cost inference.

As part of this agreement, Jonathan Ross, Groq s Founder, Sunny Madra, Groq s President, and other members of the Groq team will join Nvidia to help advance and scale the licensed technology.

I spent $50/Day on Reddit Ads for a finance app: 10-Day results and lessons

I'm building My Financ , which is a tool that allows you to understand your finances, and plan for the future.

I launched on PH in September, got some users and have been iterating.

Is YC’s Matching Platform open if we’re not accepted yet? We need a CEO (Web Dev)

Hey Product Hunt community

We re building an open-source internationalization library for web developers (React, Next.js, Vue, Nuxt, and soon Angular).

You launched and won. Your dream VC wants your data room. What’s inside?

Your launch is live. Traction is real. Momentum is building. You ve pitched investors, calls went well and then your dream VC calls. They love what you re doing. They re interested.

They end with: "Great product. Can you send over the data room?"
