Foodzilla

What's great

The app is really pleasant visually, and that matters a lot to me - when you see beautiful food photos, you actually feel motivated to cook instead of ordering delivery. The recipes are clear and step-by-step, and the ingredients are very down-to-earth - no need to run all over town looking for a feather from a polar owl

I’ve noticed I’ve been sticking to my eating routine better and with less stress

What needs improvement

The local product database could be broader. Some specific brands of cottage cheese or bread that are sold here aren’t always recognized by the scanner, so I have to enter them manually. It’s not critical, but if the database were updated more actively, it would be pretty much perfect

What's great

idea organization (4)endless inspiration (9)boards and pins (5)great for mood boards (2)creative exploration (5)

For me, this is first and foremost a powerful visual search engine, not a social network. The recommendation algorithms work perfectly: you open one relevant reference, and the system immediately offers dozens of images similar in style and mood. It’s convenient that boards can be organized into sections, keeping things tidy even in massive collections

What needs improvement

occasional ads and sponsored content (2)difficult to customize recommendations (2)

Recently, the search results have become cluttered with too many AI-generated images that aren't always properly tagged. It would be useful to have a "Hide AI content" filter to search only for real photos or design cases

Milanote

What's great

brainstorming (2)note-taking (4)visual organization (7)design workflows (4)collecting inspiration (4)desktop version (3)

For our team, this is the digital space that truly replaces the office wall covered in sticky notes and photos. We use Milanote for assembling moodboards and developing our brand's visual strategy. Linear documents kill creativity, whereas here, the infinite canvas allows us to see the bigger picture entirely. It makes it easy to group references, notes, and files in one place, establishing logical connections between them.

What needs improvement

mobile app limitations (4)

The mobile app currently acts more like a companion tool for viewing and quickly uploading photos. I’d love to have full editing capabilities - moving elements around on a phone or tablet just as freely as on the desktop version

vs Alternatives

We chose it for the balance between structure and freedom
