Why I built FairPay the problem I kept running into

I'm Simon, solo founder of FairPay.

I built this because I kept running into the same problem, someone organizes a group trip or dinner, pays for everything, and then spends days chasing everyone for their share. The usual fix is Splitwise for tracking + Venmo for paying, but that's two apps and still requires everyone to download something.

FairPay combines both. You create a group, set the amount, and send one link. Anyone can pay their share directly, even without downloading the app, through a web checkout.

FairPay lets you create a group, set the amount, and collect payments via Stripe. The biggest friction in group payments is asking everyone to download an app just to send $20, so we solved it. Anyone invited can pay their share through a web link without downloading anything. Apple Pay supported, fees shown upfront.
